The Trumpton Project 2025 is the long-awaited, deeply reluctant book of satirical cartoons from Mike Dicks, who has been using the world of Trumpton since 2015 in a failed effort to thwart the rise of nationalism, fascism, and (mainly) Nigel Farage.

The Trumpton Project 2025 is a cynical, frantic, and darkly humorous collection of 2025 cartoons, each accompanied by a brief explanation of the news story that made them “of the moment”. It is an homage to David Low’s Years of Wrath, featuring tributes to other satirists and references to The Hitchhiker’s Guide.
This book is the result of a difficult year that saw the author, who was already battling leukaemia, add colorectal cancer to his list of challenges (a fight detailed in his upcoming book, Cancer My Arse!). It is not a history of the world in 2025 — it’s just a history of what interested Mike Dicks as the world burned.
